The first Kanga was designed in 1980 and was developed from the concept of a
motorized wheelbarrow. These early units used 11 HP gas engines and were
specifically designed for home owner use. End user acceptance of the concept was
instant and it wasn't long before demand spread to rental yards. The first
rental yard sales took place in the early 80's.
Amazingly, unit numbers 6 and 7 were recently discovered still working in a
privately owned rental yard, and continue to be rented on a daily basis.
Modern Kangas are a far cry from early domestic machines and now offer 20-24 HP
gas and diesel engines. Over 21 years of continual hands-on development has
resulted in a powerful and versatile industrial workhorse.
Unlike some equipment Kanga isn't limited to use in one or two industries. Kanga
can truly provide you with equipment that literally has a 1000 and 1 uses. From
landscaping, construction sites, internal demolition, internal high rise
construction, trenching, paving, snow removal, fencing contractors, flat roof
contractors and foundries etc. Kanga boasts the widest range of different
industry users and home handyman applications.
Equipment versatility is assured with Kanga's wide range of labor saving
attachments. Kanga has become a must for any job site. With attachments ranging
from vibrating ploughs, 30" tree planting augers, trenchers and rotor
tillers to 4 in 1 buckets, the number of applications is infinite. Kanga's range
of attachments also ensures year round versatility with hydraulic snow blowers
and snow blades for winter months.
