RENTAL POLICIES
We encourage our customers to establish a charge account with us to avoid any delays. Back to top Delivery: Delivery service is available for all equipment, call for rates to specific area. Back to top Fuel: All equipment leaves our yard full of fuel. There will be a charge for refilling all equipment with tanks larger than one gallon. Back to top Cleaning Charge: Equipment shall be returned clean or a cleaning charge will be applied to the rental. Minimum charge $35.00. Back to top Minimum----Shall consist of a 4 hour rental on hour metered and none hour metered equipment rented during regular working hours. Some none hour meter equipment shall meet minimum requirements when rented from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday - Friday. hour metered equipment rented during above hours will be charged minimum if less than 4 hours are on meter. Day----------Shall consist of a maximum of 8 hours. Daily rental shall be between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday - Saturday. Or from 4:30 p.m. Saturday - 7:00 a.m. Monday. Week--------Shall consist of a maximum of 40 hours and 5 days. Weekly rentals shall be from Monday 8:00 a.m. - Friday 4:30 p.m.. In the event a rental is started other than Monday it shall consist of 5 days excluding Sunday. Exceptions for Saturday must be made prior to delivery. Month-------Shall consist of a maximum of 160 hours and 4 weeks. (Overtime hours shall be pro-rated for extra hours.)
RENTERS RESPONSIBILITY Customers agree to care for equipment properly, to use it within its rated capacity, to restrict its use to customer qualified personal, and to prohibit anyone other than authorized personnel to repair equipment. Customer agrees to pay for all damage to the rented equipment resulting from improper use, or abuse, of the equipment. Back to top The renter agrees to pay a reasonable cleaning charge for equipment not returned in the condition received. Back to top Powell's Rental provides no insurance on any rented item. Renters agrees to pay for any damage to , or loss of equipment regardless of cause, except reasonable ware and tear, while equipment is in the possession of the renter. Proof of insurance may be required on some items before they can be rented. Renter shall at his own expense, keep the equipment insured during the term of the agreement for full value thereof, against all risks of physical loss or damage from any cause, irrespective of deductible, with loss payable cause for benefit of Powells Rental Inc. Once the equipment leaves Powells Rental yard you are completely responsible for it, until we pick it back up or you deliver it to our yard during normal working hours. Your phone call to our dispatcher, requesting pick-up, does not terminate your responsibility for maintaining the security of the equipment. Back to top Renters shall take all responsibility for any tire damage or flats. Powells Rental does not provide a tire service and renter should find his own service company. Powells Rental will not compensate renter for any down time or cost of tire repair or replacement. Back to top Renter shall take care of normal needs of equipment, including checking oil levels, coolant system level, and battery water level, at the beginning of each eight hour shift. Renter shall supply and add clean fuel, oil, coolant, and battery water as required. Back to top Renter agrees that our rental rates posted do not include any license fees or taxes. Back to top
