Rental Period
Day:
Shall consist of a maximum of eight hours. Daily rental shall be between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 11 a.m. Saturday through 7 a.m. Monday. Equipment can be delivered the prior evening for following day rental.
Week:
Shall consist of a maximum of 40 hours and six days. Weekly rentals shall be from Monday 7 a.m. through Saturday at 12 p.m. In the event a rental is started other than Monday, it shall consist of six days, excluding Sunday. Exceptions for Saturday must be made prior to delivery.
Month:
Shall consist of a maximum of 160 hours and four weeks equal to 24 days. Overtime hours shall be pro-rated for extra hours.
Rental rates and inventory are subject to change without notice.

Renter's Responsibilities
Payment shall be in form of check, cash, or credit card in advance for rental items. We encourage our customers to establish a charge account with us to avoid any delays.
Delivery service is available for all equipment. We deliver equipment all over Northeast, PA . Areas such as Carbondale, Montrose, Tunkhannock, Uniondale, Dickson City, Wilkes Barre, Scranton, Susquehanna, Dunmore and beyond. Call for rates to specific area.
All equipment leaves our yard full of fuel. There will be a charge for refilling all equipment with tanks larger than one gallon.
Equipment shall be returned clean or a cleaning charge will be applied to the rental.
Customers agree to care for equipment properly, to use it within its rated capacity, restrict its use to customer-qualified personnel, and prohibit anyone other than authorized personnel to repair equipment. The customer agrees to pay for all damage to the rented equipment resulting from improper use, or abuse, of the equipment.
The renter agrees to pay a reasonable cleaning charge for equipment not returned in the condition received.
Powell’s Sales, Service, and Rentals provides no insurance on any rented item. Renter agrees to pay for any damage to, or loss of equipment regardless of cause, except reasonable wear and tear, while equipment is in the possession of the renter. Proof of insurance may be required on some items before they can be rented. Renter shall at his own expense keep the equipment insured during the term of the agreement for full value thereof, against all risks of physical loss or damage from any cause, irrespective of deductible, with loss payable cause for benefit of Powell’s Sales, Service, and Rentals.
Once the equipment leaves Powell’s Sales, Service, and Rentals’ rental yard, you are completely responsible for it until we pick it back up or you deliver it to our yard during normal working hours. Your phone call to our dispatcher, requesting pickup, does not terminate your responsibility for maintaining the security of the equipment.
Renter shall take all responsibility for any tire damage or flats. Powell’s Sales, Service, and Rentals do not provide a tire service and the renter should find his own service company. Powell’s Sales, Service, and Rentals will not compensate the renter for any downtime or cost of tire repair or replacement.
Renter shall take care of normal needs of equipment, including checking oil levels, coolant system level, and battery water level at the beginning of each eight-hour shift. Renter shall supply and add clean fuel, oil, coolant, and battery water as required.
Renter agrees that our rental rates posted do not include any license fees or taxes.
